INTER-COMPANY CRICKET MATCH

It’s not all work and no play at Moonstone. The annual staff cricket match, announced as ”The MCC Annual Cricket Battle”, was recently held at the Gampaha Botanical Garden grounds.  The staff were joined by wives, partners and children for a competitive but fun-filled day of team bonding both off and on the field of play. The weather was perfect and could not be blamed for dropped catches and getting ducks! Congratulations to the winners and all participants regardless of their gender, age, fitness level and knowledge of the rules of cricket. The contributions made by all those staff and family members that assisted in organising the food, drinks, prizes etc. is much appreciated, thank you. Also many thanks to the umpires and scorers. Plans for a rematch are already underway.
